Punjab Govt Releases Details of Electricity Relief Latest Update
Maryam Aurangzeb said that on the orders of Chief Minister Punjab, relief of Rs 14 per unit is being provided to consumers using 201 to 500 units. This facility has been given to customers of electricity companies in Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, and Islamabad. In total, more than 3.5 million electricity consumers have been given relief.
She further informed that the Prime Minister has given a relief of 50 billion rupees to the consumers using one to 200 units. The Chief Minister of Punjab has provided possible facilities for the people even in difficult economic conditions and more relief will also be given.
Relief of Rs.14 per unit for consumers from 201 to 500 units in Punjab and Islamabad

Maryam Aurangzeb further said that the process of printing and sending the aid bills of all the five electricity companies is going on. 8 lakh 40 thousand customers of Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO), 6 lakh 53 thousand 883 customers of Multan Electric Supply Company (MESCO), 5 lakh 60 thousand 139 customers of Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO), Gujranwala Electric Supply Company ( 7 lakh 31 thousand 305 consumers of Gasco), and 7 lakh 85 thousand 550 consumers of Islamabad Electric Supply Corporation (ISCO) have been given relief.
She further said that free solar system will be provided to consumers consuming zero to 200 units of electricity while consumers consuming 201 to 500 units will be given solar system in easy installments.
