Last Day to Apply for Punjab’s Rs. 130 Billion Scholarship Program
Today is the last day for students to register in Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif Honhaar Scholarship program for the prestigious Rs. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched the 130 billion scholarship program. The objective of this endowed scholarship program is to help deserving students in Punjab achieve their dreams of higher education. The scholarship will cover full tuition fees, providing significant financial relief to students pursuing an undergraduate degree.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s Vision for Talented Students
According to the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, 30,000 talented students from across Punjab will get scholarships every year. The purpose of this program is to help students who excel academically but face financial barriers. This is a major step in ensuring that no student misses out on higher education due to limited resources. Students from 50 public sector universities across Punjab are eligible to apply for this opportunity.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria and Benefits
The scholarship program will fund students for 4 to 5 years depending on the length of their undergraduate degree. To determine eligibility, 30% of the student’s matric marks and 70% of their intermediate marks will be considered. The scholarship will cover the full tuition fees of the students under the meritorious scholarship.
Eligible applicants should be below 22 years of age and belong to families with an annual income of less than Rs. 3 lakh The initiative aims to reduce the financial burden on families and help deserving students pursue their dreams of higher education.

Opportunities for MBBS and BDS Students
Apart from regular undergraduate students, MBBS and BDS students are also eligible to apply for the scholarship. Students can apply for the scholarship by visiting the official website honhaarscholarship.punjabhec.gov.pk. The last date for submission of applications is today, October 18. Information desks have been set up in universities to assist students in the registration process.
